Infomill has developed a leading asset management application for maintenance scheduling called MPS which has been used 24/7 for 6 years in the mission-critical rail sector.

Maintenance records for assets are maintained that recognise their system criticality. Details of required work can be scheduled on a “balanced” regime to maximise the time available to deal with the most critical items first.

Costs and time are reduced by working efficiently and warranted components are marked to prevent unnecessary repairs if returns are allowed. Safety-critical components are also tracked to ensure their maintenance history is complete with alarm functions triggered when inspection anniversaries may be missed.
