How We Can Help

A publications co-ordinator is usually appointed by Infomill with the designated level of expertise. This co-ordinator determines, with the customer, the work packages that are required against defined timescales. They work with the customer to ensure the flow of information from design and manufacturing can be brought together to provide the necessary feed to after-sales publications. These deliverables are usually technical documents including service manuals and parts catalogs, generated by Infomill to the customer’s corporate standard.

  • Infomill entered into a 3-year relationship with a specialist vehicle manufacturer that included the facility management of part of the customer’s publications department. They provided other services including print and electronic delivery of information for customers.  The key feature of this relationship was a guarantee that Infomill would take out cost in all three years of the current operation at agreed levels. Infomill proved that costs could be reduced and shared the savings with the customer in accordance with the contract.  Furthermore, customers commented how they believed the quality of after-sales information had become “the best in the industry”.  Electronic parts catalogs were delivered by Infomill on CD-ROM and received with much acclaim.

  • Infomill provided a combination of on-site staff and support services to other OEMs in industries including rail rolling-stock manufacturing and CNC equipment. These customised solutions included product support authoring, illustrating and printing services.
